Established Dublin Freight Forwarder now seek to hire an experienced German speaking Customer Service Agent to join their German forwarding department. This company is long established with a recognised marquee and reputation for service reliability. Reporting to the Operations Manager, your key responsibilities will include;
- Forward Import Export part loads or consolidate if required
- Backload European trailers where necessary with full or part loads
- Forward cargo to additional suppliers where necessary
- Build up a pool of hauliers and get to know their destinations and schedules
- Handle 3rd Party usage on ferry bookings
- Work within a set budget
- Produce account activity reports in a clear and concise format
Prerequisite Requirements:
- Leaving Certificate ideally with a further Diploma/Degree
- 2 + years working within either Air, Road, Sea Freight or Logistics Company along with experience working within the German market
- Fluency in German
- Be a self starter – self motivator
- Demonstrate an ability to work on own initiative
- Good planner / organiser / communicator
- Work with Colleagues / resolve conflicts of interest etc.
- Computer Skills ( MS Office Basic)
- Excellent Interpersonal skills
Terms:
Full time / Permanent
Package:
€25-30,000 Depending on experience
